Pedals is a eco-conscious bicycle service and repair workshop run by owners and pro mechanics James and Ryan.
Since opening in 2010 we have become one of Edinburgh's most successful and trusted bike service centres and having opened a second location in Dunfermline city centre we now bring the same top notch service to Fife!
Pedals provides the cycling community with a welcoming, friendly shop to bring their bikes to and receive high quality, personable and comprehensive services.
We run a diary system for repairs, so you can make an appointment on a day that suits you. Once we have this arranged just bring your bike in on the morning it’s booked for (or any time the day before). We just need it in before 11am on the day of booking so we have time to complete the repair.

On drop off (or just after) we will check your bike over and put together a quote for repair, you will either then get a text or a phone call to discuss options. No work goes ahead unless we have it pre-agreed, so you know exactly how much it’s going to cost before collection.
One of our pro mechanics will then start work, we aim to have all bikes ready the same day. However, due to the complex work on some bikes this isn’t always possible (we do quite a lot of suspension work) so if you are going away on holiday with the bike, or have a big race at the weekend, please mention this at booking so we don’t get any surprises.
Once your bike is completed and ready to go, you will get a text letting you know it’s sorted and the total cost.
